With over 250 unique pieces to choose from, there’s truly something for every art lover. The
Carlos & Albert collection is a magical collaboration between Carlos Muñoz of Mexico and
Albert Ickenroth of Holland—two artists from completely different backgrounds united by a
shared creative vision.
Their work is a playful fusion of cultures, colour, and imagination—bringing animals to life with
whimsy and soul. Rooted in traditional Mexican artistry yet infused with global influence, their
sculptures are instantly recognisable and widely collected.
Their story began in 1980 when Albert met Carlos, then a rising star trained at the prestigious
Cabañas Institute in Guadalajara. With years of apprenticeship and private study under
master artisans, Carlos had already laid the foundation for something remarkable. Together,
Carlos & Albert have created a style that’s not only distinctive, but also a tribute to the great
Mexican masters who came before them.
